The Grassroots/ Richard Weare Endowment fund is made up of donations made to the Government-funded Grassroots Grants programme (2008-2011).

The most significant contribution to the scheme was from The Richard Weare Charitable Trust, founded by the late Colonel Richard Weare JP DL. We are proud to honour this contribution in the grant scheme's name.

Today these two funds, together with other donations, have created a permanent endowment that will benefit our communities for years to come.
